Operating principles
In contrast with its competitors, who apply a fixed system with no scope for adaptation, or who use a type of equipment incorporating a predefined management system, Aéro Capital offers its clients a preliminary consultancy service as a means of identifying a tailor-made private aircraft and system which are best suited to the requirements and constraints of the client.
Our strategy is more akin to "
haute couture" than "ready to wear", which may prove unsuitable in the long term.
The Magellan System consists of a series of tools for the
accurate measurement of economic and corporate factors associated with the client. The system uses a combination of the best available experts in the fields of finance, operation and maintenance, together with a legal/financial/fiscal system, in which each element provides a specific contribution to the analysis of the particular aspects of each project.
The Magellan name stands for the leading specialists in their respective fields, who are committed to the delivery of easily-verifiable results. In order to define the extent of its commitments, Aéro Capital, as part of the Magellan System, have developed "
quality charters" to be observed by the various operators involved in the Aéro Capital client system.
The Aéro Capital consultancy procedure involves the conduct of a
comparative analysis between the existing transport solution and a business aircraft solution or/and between several types of
business jets.All main models of private aircraft are considered :
Citation Jets,
Beechcraft prop jets,
Bombardier Learjets,
Falcon jets... The purpose of this analysis is to identify existing travel arrangements, to determine the annual transport budget and compare the latter to the cost calculated by the Magellan System, in consideration of the constraints and requirements of the client: destinations, frequency of travel, number of persons transported, investment, performance of the aircraft selected, etc..
In some cases, this comparative analysis may reveal that there is no economically viable solution available. In this case, Aéro Capital will advise the client not to buy or lease the aircraft concerned. This approach takes proper account of the interests of the client.
In consultation with the client, Aéro Capital will validate the system selected and, in some cases, will propose a trial phase using the preferred aircraft. At the end of this trial phase, the final decision is validated and the definitive deployment of the relevant Magellan System is requested, taking account of the most recent corrective adjustments.
In some cases, the Magellan System allows for the establishment by the owner of an Intranet or Internet aircraft reservation system. The client may consult, modify or enter reservations themselves. They may also communicate with the airline responsible for operating the aircraft, in case of specific requests or comments. Naturally, access to this service is restricted.
The Magellan System therefore allows the
operational and commercial management of aircraft reservation operations by designated company employees.
